Confirming Your Reservation

Your reservation is not confirmed until you complete the required Additional Info & Agreement in addition to booking directly on this website or via Airbnb or VRBO.

Check In

You are welcome to check in any time starting at 4pm.  

There is a gate at the entry to the community and a keypad lock on the front door and you will be provided with the codes for both the morning of check-in.

House Rules

  • We provide starter supplies for your stay, if needed you can replenish supplies in town at Walmart, Ingles, etc.
  • No smoking of any kind inside the cabin. If smoke smell is detected after your stay, an additional cleaning fee of $300 WILL be charged. 
  • The cabin uses a septic system. ONLY FLUSH TOILET PAPER.
  • Put out any campfires before leaving the property or going to bed. Pour water to extinguish all embers.
  • Turn the hot tub temp back down to 90 and replace cover when not in use.
  • Gas grill - do not move & turn propane tank off when done using
  • Turn off the gas fireplace(s) before leaving the cabin.  Do not move the artificial logs for any reason. 
  • No flames within 10 ft of the propane tank
  • No parties, fireworks or discharging firearms on property. 
  • Quiet hours strictly from 10pm to 8am.
  • Report any damages or issues to the host. Unless emergency, contact owner between hours of 9a-9p for any questions via booking site.
  • Be aware of bears and other wildlife in the area. Do not leave any food outside. Place all trash in the plastic bin inside the bear-proof trash box and secure it. All trash must be bagged before depositing or $150 will be charged for cleanup.
  • Watch small children and pets outdoors, in/near hot tub, fire pit & gas grill 
  • If you have more trash than will fit in the bear proof bins at checkout, leave it in the kitchen. 
  • Early check-in and late check-out may be available but only if arranged in advance, subject to availability and fee.
  • Follow check-out instructions before leaving, lock all doors and windows and return keys to the lockbox.

HOT TUB RULES & OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Always shower before entering
  • Please do not add anything to the hot tub, including soaps, bubbles, or chemicals, as this will damage the equipment and may result in a cleaning fee. 
  • Please open and close the cover with 2 people to avoid damage
  • Put the cover back on when not in use
  • Turn temperature down to 90 degrees F (32 C) when not in use
  • Never set temperature above 102 degrees F (39 C) to avoid harm
  • Do not use for more than 15-20 minutes without taking a break
  • Do not leave children under the age of 12 unsupervised
  • Follow the safety rules and instructions posted near hot tub
  • Maximum 6 people, minimum of 2 people - do not use hot tub alone
  • No glassware in or around hot tub
  • No electrical appliances in or around hot tub
  • Pregnant women and those with heart conditions should not use
  • Those with health issues should not use
  • Wear swim suits only - no regular clothing
  • No jumping or diving
  • No pets

In Case Of Power Outage:

  • The generator will automatically turn on and then turn off when power is restored
  • Conserve electricity by using appliances sparingly and only running essentials on the generator. Unplug all non-essential electronics, and keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed to maintain cold temperatures. Only turn on lights and appliances one at a time to avoid overloading the generator
  • Overuse could result in depletion of propane then you will not have hot water or use of the oven/stove
  • Use this QR Code to check power outage map & status 
  • Check the Amicalola EMC website for power outage map and service updates
  • Internet service often goes out when power is out and the generator will not be able to restore internet service


Outside lights

The outside string lights are set to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.


Checkout instructions:

  • Checkout time is 10am unless otherwise agreed in advance
  • All trash and recyclables must be put in a tied trash bag and placed in the outside bin and secured. There will be a $150 fee if any unbagged trash is deposited or left outside.
  • Turn the hot tub temperature down to 99 and cover
  • Cover the gas grill (make sure it’s not hot first!) and turn the propane tank to “OFF”
  • Extinguish the fire pit by pouring water on it if used
  • Leave heat/AC on and set to 68 in Winter / 78 in Summer
  • Turn off any portable heaters/coolers used
  • Leave the ceiling fan(s) running
  • Remove all food from the refrigerator/freezer
  • Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on
  • Remove the sheets and leave them on the floor next to the bed
  • Put all the dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom
  • Return Amenities cards back to the hooks inside the front door
  • Return all furniture to original position
  • Make sure all windows/doors are shut and locked including game room and security bar in the sliding glass door
  • Double-check that you didn’t leave anything
  • Return house keys to the lockbox & set alarm
  • Safe travels home :)

How to Use the Hot Tub

How to Light Pilot Light For Gas Fireplace

This is a gas fireplace.  Use the wall-mounted remote to turn it on.  Do not move logs, touch dials or knobs inside, cook anything or put anything in the fireplace.  


If the fireplace does not turn on with the remote on the wall, contact us via your booking site messaging and use the video below to relight the pilot light if directed.


Please note there will be a $100 fee charged if any rules are violated that result in repairs.
